What is North Texas Giving Day?

North Texas Giving Day was started by Communities Foundation of Texas in 2008 with hopes of highlighting local nonprofits while moving individuals to generously give to their missions. To date, $195 million has been given to nonprofits throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, making this giving day the largest event in the nation.

When is North Texas Giving Day?

North Texas Giving Day takes place in the fall every year. Those interested in giving can donate to participating nonprofits during an 18-hour window of time spanning from 6:00 a.m. until midnight on that given Tuesday.

Who can participate in North Texas Giving Day?

Though North Texas Giving Day benefits nonprofits based in the North Texas region, you can give from anywhere. Regardless of where you live, you are welcomed and encouraged to support the mission of your favorite North Texas-based nonprofit. This one day dedicated to generosity truly has the capacity of being a global event!

How can I support East-West on North Texas Giving Day?

For several years, East-West participates in North Texas Giving Day! What makes this day especially unique for our ministry is the generosity that precedes a single day.

Friends of our ministry have provided matching funds to make it possible to fuel ministry to the unreached in this one day. That means that you can give to our mission between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and midnight and see your gift matched dollar for dollar!
