In a dream, a national partner saw one of his students—Alina—and her mom—Sabina—rejoicing in their faith in Jesus. He knew they were not ready to accept the gospel, but this dream gave him hope. He didn’t know how to start a conversation with the pair, so he decided to set up an appointment with Sabina first.
When they met, the national partner quickly discerned that Sabina wanted to change her life.
That’s when he saw an opportunity to share the gospel and his dream. He told Sabina about Jesus and assured her that everything would work out because of what God revealed to him in his sleep. Joy would be possible in the hard times because of Christ’s presence in her life.
But instead of responding in faith, Sabina avoided the partner’s invitation to Christ and insisted that he talk to Alina directly about this good news.
Later in the week, he met with Alina and learned that she lived in great fear, especially when she was alone. The national partner prayed with her and asked Jesus to meet her in her fear … and He was faithful to do so.
Within three days, Alina reached out to the national partner again. When they met, she shared that her fear was completely gone. He knew his prayer for her was answered and decided to ask Alina if she wanted to accept Jesus into her heart. She did and that day became a follower of Jesus.
Sabina has yet to trust in Christ, but the national partner and Alina are confident God will fulfill the dream by leading her to a saving faith in the gospel. Join us in praying for Sabina!
