A sobering transformation

After spending years battling a drug addiction and a near-death encounter with a bear, Binh* set aside his wild ways to follow Jesus. And once he made that choice, there was no turning back.

Binh immediately enrolled in a Bible school and started planting churches in his Southeast Asian nation. Shortly after, he crossed paths with an East-West missionary who invited him to a training in evangelism and church planting.

Binh was eager to learn how to better reproduce his faith in others, so he immediately accepted the invitation.

At the training he learned that his testimony was a powerful tool in sharing the gospel, second only to the words printed on the pages of his Bible. So Binh set out to travel from village to village sharing the good news that sobered him when he was an addict and gave his life a purpose.

In each village, Binh told people about his life before and after Christ… repeatedly seeing people be compelled by the Spirit to place their faith in Jesus because of the profound change that occurred in his life.

And God is not finished using Binh’s story to transform a country through the gospel. Today, Binh has visited over 25 villages to evangelize and plant churches, and has witnessed dozens of people become new creations in Christ.
