"And they sang a new song saying: 'You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nations" -Revelation 5:9
God has encouraged and challenged me for many years through this passage. Today we know there are thousands of people groups who are still unreached by the gospel, yet we also know they will be represented before the throne in heaven, lifting their voices to sing of Christ’s worthiness to be praised.
When I think about this, I’m greatly challenged by God about what I am doing to reach the unreached and fulfill the mandate of Christ to make disciples of all nations. He’s shown me that by training local leaders, I can be a part of multiplying His gospel among those far from Christ.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to train people of other cultures who are filled with the same passion as me, and who are incredibly faithful to bring the gospel to the unreached in their nations.
How is God challenging you to make disciples today?
Lord, show us ways we can support those who are sent to share the gospel among the unreached and how we can be witnesses where You’ve placed us. Amen.
