For the last ten years, Ahmad*, an East-West supported national partner, has worked in an undisclosed, dangerous nation in the Middle East to build God’s Kingdom. Although a native of a neighboring country, his heart has long ached for the people of this highly Muslim nation to hear the message of God’s love.
“Does God’s Kingdom know political or cultural borders? No. God has no borders. He is love and above all borders,” said Ahmad. “My love should be the same—without borders.”
Ahmad, who daily risks his life in a nation where death is the punishment for denouncing Islam, was once arrested for sharing his love for Jesus Christ. Through miraculous circumstances he was set free and offered a home in any western country he desired … but he chose to stay to continue spreading the gospel.
“God’s love changed me completely. How could I not share it by leaving when so many have not heard about Him? It is a powerful weapon,” he said.
“Jesus won the world—not with a sword, but with a few disciples and with the Word of God. That's why it is important to demonstrate God’s love to others and to pass on my knowledge so the next generation can do the same.”
Through ministry to students and families, Ahmad has passed on his knowledge to 19 small groups of believers in this spiritually dark nation of the Middle East. Some of these groups have even moved to new locations … multiplying the impact of the gospel worldwide.
