Pardoned

My name is Hasan, and I was born in a Muslim family.

The first time I heard about a man named Jesus was through a visitor from a large city in my nation. He told me about Christ and and left me with a brochure that explained the gospel.

I read the brochure and had a lot of questions, so I asked the visitor to help me understand.

Soon I learned that I was a sinner, but that there was a way to be pardoned for my acts against God … all I had to do was trust in Jesus as my Savior. This went against what my Muslim faith taught me. I thought I had to perform a lot of rituals to have a right standing with God.

But this man told me the God he loved and served gave gifts of grace to sinners.

That day I repented and decided to become a follower of Jesus. God has since changed my life and has helped me through hard problems.
