We hear it all the time on the news, and we’ve heard it especially loud in the last few weeks: death, destruction, mindless murder, evil action. This is the face of Islam in the minds of millions across the world.
It’s no wonder that the first impulse for the average American is fear when they see a hijab in a public setting. Many Americans, even Christians, look at people of the Muslim faith with anger, hate, and disdain.
But God is not hindered by the emotional and fearful climate in the world towards Muslims.
He is in the process of calling his Muslim bride to himself in a miraculous and record-shattering way that many Christians in the United States are unaware of. So many churchgoers do not realize that Muslims are flocking to Jesus by the thousands in the Middle East. There has never been another movement like this in the Muslim world in all of history. All of history.
It is absolutely incredible how God is using the tragedy and pain and war in these countries to draw these shackled people to Himself. We must remember that we do not hate Muslims. We hate the chains of Islam that have kept them in bondage for thousands of years, unable to see the truth of who God really is.
There are 99 names for Allah in the Islamic faith, but not one of them is love.
