The Start of a Movement

When Helen started serving with East-West as a church planter, she only had six churches to serve, but God had bigger plans for her ministry.

At an evangelism and church planting seminar, she learned that her ministry would be more effective if she trained her disciples to multiply. She left inspired to do more for God’s Kingdom. She started by setting long-term church planting goals and creating a strategy to make those goals a reality in her corner of the globe.

Then she set out to accomplish them.

Helen prayed for and poured into the six churches God gave her to guide. She trained each church member to share the gospel and their testimony, and she went out weekly to reach people with the Name of Jesus.

Within months God grew her count of churches to 34 through the mission-focused obedience of Helen and her disciples. And that’s just the beginning of the movement God started through her.

Helen now has a weekly goal of sharing the gospel with four people near one of the churches so that as people meet Jesus, they are immediately welcomed into the local body of believers and taught to multiply.
