Read Galatians 1:8 and Isaiah 64:6.
I love Galatians, and this specific verse has been ringing in my head. It’s such strong language, especially in context of the whole book. And it’s a direct reminder that salvation is found in Christ alone—not through any of our own self-righteous striving. All of our works are like filthy rags. We bring nothing to the table, and Jesus brings everything.
He’s the giver, and I’m the taker. This true gospel by grace through faith alone is what I preach to myself daily. It’s what I repeatedly use to build my teammates up, and it’s the message I’m taking to the lost. Jesus—the only way to the Father.
Jesus, thank You for paving a path back to the Father through Your sacrifice on the cross. Give us new opportunities to share the true gospel with more people. Amen.
