For Binh, the third time was the charm.

Two different coworkers had shared the gospel with him, and he finally considered the life-giving message when he heard about Jesus from a local pastor.

These three men had distinct backgrounds, yet they professed the same beliefs—faith in a God that sent His only Son to die on a cross and rise from the grave for the forgiveness of sins for all who trust in Jesus. The blinders preventing Binh from belief fell that day.

His life changed for eternity as he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

But his transformation didn’t end there. After three months of meeting with the pastor, the Scriptures he studied convicted Binh.

Christians in the Bible were baptized immediately after believing in Jesus—the Ethiopian eunuch was so eager to be identified with Christ that he jumped at the opportunity to be baptized in the first body of water he passed (Acts 8).

And Binh knew it was time to publicly display his new beliefs through baptism.

He joined two other new brothers and was baptized by the pastor in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Since that day, Binh continues to grow as a disciple, and is learning to share his testimony and the gospel with the help of the pastor who led him to Christ.
