With the Gospel on Their Backs
Can you imagine never experiencing a movie? Can you imagine never having electricity? Can you imagine never hearing the name of "Jesus?"
That’s the reality of the remote villages of India that East-West ministers to. Most of these villages don’t have electricity, much less access to modern technology that could enable them to experience some of our favorite pastimes like movies.
But modern technology is now able to come to the people of these villages so that they can experience a motion picture for the first time . . . and also hear the gospel in their own language.
Check out this video about how East-West evangelists are using portable projectors and the JESUS Film to reach the unreached.
Just one evangelist using one projector can expose 21,000 people to the gospel per year—contributing to the East-West’s goal of reaching 50 million people with the gospel by June 30, 2012!
Our goal is to put 50 projectors on the field to reach 1,050,000 more people with the Good News of Jesus Christ through this project.
