My name is Monisha*, and I was born and brought up in an orthodox Muslim family in South Asia. Since childhood, I suffered from severe pain in my body, and the pain persisted day and night.

For five years, I sought doctors for help … but none of them could find a cure for my agony. So I decided to try something else.

One night, I went to a Christian meeting near my village. And I asked for prayer for my pain. As I stood there, full of despair and discomfort, a group of believers laid their hands on my body and prayed over me aloud together.

As their words flowed through my mind, I felt power flow through my body. And suddenly, it all stopped … the prayer, the pain, everything. I was healed—body and soul.

From that day on, I have followed the God who healed me and have shared my faith with the Muslims in my area. I have seen 112 people accept the love of Christ, and I pray that the Lord will continue to use me for His harvest.
