Kurt Nelson, President and CEO

It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation. Rather, as it is written: “Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.” —Romans 15:20-21

For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. —1 Corinthians 2:2

These two verses are my "heart song," how I pray God will use my life.

John Maisel, Founder and Chairman Emeritus

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me —the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace. —Acts 20:24

This is my life verse because I consider Paul's task of testifying to the gospel to be my task as well.

Joe Wall, Vice President

I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death. —Philippians 3:10

As my life verse, this piece of Scripture keeps me focused on what really counts in life.

Bob West, Vice President – Evangelism

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. —Jeremiah 29:11

This verse reminds me that the plan God has for my life is in my best interest.

Beverly Pop, Vice President – Development

Psalm 139

This chapter of the Psalms speaks to me because it talks about what God thinks about us.
